Programme Overview
The Bachelor of Optometry is a five-year undergraduate program that trains students in the examination, diagnosis, and management of visual disorders and eye diseases. The program covers ocular anatomy, refraction, contact lens fitting, binocular vision, low vision rehabilitation, paediatric optometry, and community eye care — equipping graduates with the clinical and optical skills required by eye hospitals, optical retail chains, vision research centres, and community eye health programmes.
