About the B.Tech CSE (AI & DS) programme

Programme Overview

B.Tech CSE (AI & DS) prepares you to build the software and intelligent systems shaping healthcare and industry — including technology that helps people with disabilities. It is an undergraduate programme in the School of Engineering & Emerging Technologies (Computer Science & Engineering) at St. Mary's University (SMRU), Hyderabad — a UGC-recognised private university on a residential campus at Deshmukhi, near Ramoji Film City, and runs for 4 Years (8 Semesters). You can apply with 10+2 PCM; entrance process applies. The current fee, intake and scholarship terms are confirmed with you at admissions counselling.

You build engineering and computing skills where technology meets people — including assistive and rehabilitation engineering, artificial intelligence, data science and software systems.

What Students Study

You study programming and software engineering, data structures and algorithms, mathematics for computing, your chosen specialisation (AI, data science, biomedical or assistive technology), and project work.

Learning Experience

You learn through lab-based coursework, semester projects and a capstone project, with industry-partner modules where the programme includes them.
