Master of Laws (LL.M.)
Postgraduate Program
About the LL.M. programme
Programme Overview
Master of Laws (LL.M.) prepares you to argue, advise and shape the rules society lives by — in courtrooms, companies, government and public-interest work. It is a postgraduate programme in the School of Law at St. Mary's University (SMRU), Hyderabad — a UGC-recognised private university on a residential campus at Deshmukhi, near Ramoji Film City, and runs for 1 Year (2 Semesters). The current fee, intake and scholarship terms are confirmed with you at admissions counselling.
You receive a rigorous legal education grounded in the Constitution, rights and ethics, with particular depth in disability rights, health law and public policy — preparing you for practice, research and public service.
What Students Study
You study constitutional, criminal, civil and contract law; jurisprudence; procedural law; and specialised areas such as disability rights, healthcare law and technology law.
Learning Experience
You argue in moot court, work in the legal-aid clinic, intern with courts and law firms, and carry out supervised legal research.
